What to include in a masterbatch inquiry.
Start with your base resin, processing method, end application and color or specification target. Add the quantities and documents you want reviewed. If a detail is unknown, say so: a clear gap is more useful than an assumed specification.
Separate the requirements that need review.
Small details that prevent another round of questions.
These checks help keep the discussion tied to your intended application.
What does a percentage in my specification mean?
Label each percentage with its property. State whether it refers to pigment content, addition rate, transmission, haze or another measurement. For a measured property, include the method and conditions if specified. A percentage on its own leaves the request ambiguous.
Can I start with a product photo?
Yes, you can use a photo to explain the initial request. State whether a physical reference or approved color code is also available. The reference and acceptance criteria still need to be agreed for the project.
What should I include in a food-contact document request?
State the intended market, final application and standard or customer requirement you want reviewed. If these are not confirmed, identify the gap. Requesting a document does not establish that a particular grade or final application is compliant.
Do I need a quotation immediately?
Tell us whether you want a technical review, a matching-grade discussion, a TDS, sample availability or a quotation. For commercial review, add the order quantity, delivery destination and requested timing. Sample quantity and production order quantity should be separate.
Download the plain-text template, fill in what you know and attach relevant references when you contact Sinfone. Product fit, samples, documentation, price and timing remain subject to project-specific confirmation.
